Vice-President: Suzanne Rollo (Regina)
Suzanne started in the field of education in 1972, teaching core French in Saskatoon and then in the French immersion program in Prince Albert in 1974. Her family moved to Regina in 1980, where she completed her education degree. She taught at École Msgr. de Laval for four years and then went on to teach grade one at St. Mary’s School for a few years. From 1987 to 2000 Suzanne worked at the dual track St. Angela School where she coordinated the French immersion programme. She was a part of a small group who lobbied for smaller class sizes at the beginner level and achieved the current mandate to limit class sizes to 23 at the kindergarten to grade three levels in the Regina Catholic School system.
In 2001, she became Vice-President at St. Pius X School and since 2002 has been Principal at St. Mary’s School where she graciously allowed CPF-SK to hold its Rendez-vous in February 2004. For many years, Suzanne has been a staunch supporter of CPF-SK’s Concours d’art oratoire. She firmly believes Concours improves the writing, oral, and public speaking skills of students, and that it should be a part of the curriculum. She has also promoted many other CPF-SK activities and involvements over the years.
Currently living in Regina, Suzanne has three children, all of whom went through the French immersion program and have benefited greatly from the skills of their second-language.

Director: Monique Myers (Wawota)
Monique Myers was born in Aylmer, Quebec. She excelled in all of her elementary and high school classes and graduated from high school at the age of 15. She entered C.E.G.E.P (equivalent to SIAST) on her 16th birthday and completed her first year of University classes that year. She then transfered to Ottawa University where she received her Bachelor of Education with a major in English and a minor in Psychology. It was in 1981 that Monique was sent out to Saskatchewan to teach at Wawota school.
Monique was thrown from living in a large urban center into a small prairie town. She was extremely close to calling it quits and moving back home to Quebec when she met a young farmer by the name of Ken Myers. She decided to stay a little longer to see where things would go. They got married in 1983 and late 1984 they had their second child, Lisa.
Monique has continued to teach at Wawaota Parkland School and throughout the years has established a strong link to the school, as well as the community. She has volunteered for many charitable organisations and has spent relentless hours after school helping with extra-curricular activities. Her dedication, hard work, and enthusiasm for teaching, especially French, has motivated the students at Wawota Parkland to work to their full potential. Her family and friends are extremely proud of what she has done for the school and community and anticipate for what she intends to do for the years to come.
